Instructional Designer and Canvas Administrator

Tiffany provides Canvas support, online pedagogical support and support for other digital edTech tools such as Poll Everywhere, Kaltura, Hypothes.is, Zoom, for WashU faculty and staff in Arts & Sciences. She also assists with quality testing of content and functionality of Drupal websites. 

Prior to joining WashU in October 2020, Tiffany amassed over 15 years’ experience in higher education not only as an instructor, but also in student development, faculty training, instructional design, and online learning pedagogy across multiple universities and modalities of instruction. She is certified as an Apple teacher and Quality Matters and has taught Communication courses online, in-person, and hybrid at Maryville University, SLU, Missouri Baptist University, St. Louis Community College, Central Methodist University and College of Southern Nevada. Previous to her work in higher education, Tiffany worked in key marketing and communications roles at Buckeye International, Harrah’s Rincon Casino & Resort San Diego, and Paris Las Vegas.

Tiffany earned a Master of Arts in Communication from Lindenwood University and a PhD in General Psychology with an emphasis in Integrating Technology & Learning from Grand Canyon University, completing her dissertation research on the roles and impacts of teacher presence in online undergraduate programs.
